McKellar Cottage is a brand new and newly furnished three-bedroom cottage on two levels in a private setting, in the village of McKellar. From the large deck on the upper level, you can barbeque or relax and enjoy the sunsets overlooking Lake Manitouwabing across the road. There are windows covering the entire south wall of the cottage, with views of the lake from both levels. Across the road is a parkette with a large playing field or you can walk a block into town for chips at the chip wagon, stopping to enjoy them on one of the many benches in the parkette.
The upper level has wood laminate floors and pine ceilings with and
open-concept. The kitchen is well-appointed with lots of
counter space, a dishwasher, microwave and even a cappuccino maker.
The master bedroom offers a queen-sized bed with a four-piece
en-suite with sunken tub and his and hers closets. The second
bedroom has a double bed. A three-piece bathroom completes
this level. With forced air propane and air exchanger, which changes the air inside the cottage every 20 minutes, this is truly a cottage for all-seasons. Enjoy golf at the Ridge at Manitou, ten kilometers away. The owners will provide you with a Privilege Card, which entitles you to a reduced rate at the golf course. Access the adjacent snowmobile trail or go ice fishing in the winter. You can find a sandy beach and dock for swimming at the public
boat launch, within view of the cottage. When you launch your
boat you can explore over 100 miles of shoreline and fish for
walleye, pike and bass.
