Gooderham Hideaway is a three-bedroom, open-concept, bright cottage. The u-shaped kitchen, eating area and living room overlook the deck and lake. Comfortable furniture, pine walls and cathedral ceiling add to the warmth in this open area. The three bedrooms also have pine tongue and groove ceilings. There is a double bed in one, twin bunks in the second and a queen bed in the third. Fans throughout will keep the warm summer air moving.

Downstairs is a finished open area for those energetic youngsters and also a separate sitting room for a quiet conversation. Access the outdoors from this lower level through sliding doors.

A sheltered deck off the living room on the upper level provides an ideal spot for enjoying morning coffee or an evening glass of wine and the amazing sunsets.

At the shore there is a dock with a ladder and five feet of water at the end, great for swimming. Off to the side and few steps down is a small sand, shallow entrance to the lake, good for young ones to splash around in.

Nearby golf and walking trails will add to the possibilities during your stay.

Enjoy a stroll through the village of Gooderham where you will find the basic amenities. Haliburton, only 15 minutes away, is the heart of Haliburton Highlands and offers quaint shopping and cafes, a definite must-see while visiting in the area.

For a taste of what these Highlands have to offer and a comfortable place to enjoy one of the many Haliburton Highland lakes, this is the perfect spot for you!
